The Latest Chapter for TUFF BOY in a Long and Storied History — TUFF BOY EQUIPMENT Builds on a Legacy

Known for providing well-built and tough transportation equipment to the ag industry, Bill and Lucille Harris founded the company in the 1950’s, and incorporated as TUFF BOY in 1963.

Beginning with tilt-bed trailers that established the company’s reputation for excellence, and evolving over the years with updated produce trailers, hoppers, flat beds, and other equipment to meet client needs, TUFF BOY continues to deliver to this day.

In 2023, a new chapter began for the TB family with the acquisition of assets from SBM of Gridley, California, bringing together the talents and capabilities of two companies with a continuing mission to build first-class ag equipment. The name has changed to TUFF BOY EQUIPMENT (TBE) but the commitment to quality, value, and service is even greater.

TUFF BOY EQUIPMENT manufactures Orchard Cabs, AG Trucks, Bankouts, Sprayers, and other field support equipment exclusively for it’s preferred dealer network across the western United States and Canada.
